The Science – Technology and Environment Department is an agency belong the Ministry of Construction, performing the function to advise the Minister management on the science, technology and environment in the task the state management of Ministry, including : scientific research and technological development, application of technical progress, transfer of technology, standards, measurement and quality poducts – goods; industrial property; technical barriers to trade, environmental protection, information science and technology in the field of state management of Ministry.

The current Country Programme (2017-2021) contributes to three inter-related outcomes of the One UN Strategic Plan for Viet Nam, aiming to address poverty and inequalities; enhance citizen participation and protection of rights; as well as promote sustainable low- carbon development while strengthening resilience of the targeted groups.

IFC giúp các nước đang phát triển tăng trưởng bền vững thông qua đầu tư tài chính, huy động vốn từ các thị trường tài chính quốc tế, và cung cấp các dịch vụ tư vấn cho các doanh nghiệp và chính phủ. Hiện nay, IFC đang triển khai một dự án phát triển ngành tài chính vi mô nhằm mục tiêu cải thiện năng lực, tính minh bạch và chuẩn mực báo cáo trong ngành, đồng thời hỗ trợ xây dựng thể chế của các tổ chức tài chính vi mô nhằm tăng cường tiếp cận tài chính theo hướng bền vững và có trách nhiệm.
VIETNAM GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL
The Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC) is a program of Green Cities Fund, Inc., an international non-profit organisation based in California, USA. VGBC was established in 2007 with an aim to raise awareness and build capacity for the development of green building in Vietnam. VGBC has been officially recognized by the Ministry of Construction of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (March 2009) and also took part in the establishment of the WorldGBC Asia Pacific Network (Sept. 2009).
