Mr. Jacobo is a passionate MSc Civil Engineer and INSEAD Executive MBA graduate with over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry. Over the course of his career, he has transitioned from Site Construction Manager in a regional contracting company to a Managing Director role in a world leading construction chemical producer. 

 

Mr. Jacobo started his career in Spain where he was involved in a variety of civil projects and proved to be a hands-on, results-driven professional. His capacity to adapt to changing environments and his preference to work in diverse teams served him well when he moved on to Eastern Europe to undertake a Site Manager position, followed by a Project Manager post in road construction projects.

 

In 2012, Jacobo relocated to Indonesia, and has since undertaken roles including both Project and Business Management. In his current capacity he has nationwide responsibility for the P&L, sales & marketing functions, leading product management, strategic marketing, and key account management as well as project management teams.

 

Following his graduation from INSEAD’s executive-MBA, Jacobo was promoted as Managing Director for Sika in Cambodia first and more recently in Vietnam leading the local subsidiary.
