On 31st July, 2002, under the Decision No. 1020 / QD-BXD of the Ministry of Construction, Viglacera Float Glass Company (VIFG) was established on basis of the Project Management Board of Viglacera Float Glass Factory. VIFG is a member of The Corporation of Glass and Construction Ceramics (Viglacera Corporation – now). Up to now, Viglacera Corporation is the largest interdisciplinary construction material manufacturer in Vietnam.
Viglacera Float Glass Company, which consists of the most modern equipments of the float glass production technology of the world, has a capacity of 420 tons per day, equivalent to 24.5 million m2 of standard glass per year. Its glass product with diversified color has the thickness from 2mm to 12mm and it meet the European Standards EN 572:2004. The product quality control process at VIFG is carried out strictly and frequently from the raw materials to the final inspection of finished glass products to make sure that the output products always achieve European Standards EN 572:2004.
PRODUCT/SOLUTION INTRODUCTION
In this event, we are going to introducing 3 types of glasses: Clear glass and Saving energy glasses (Low-E; Solar control).
Viglacera is manufacturing from 2mm to 12mm raw clear glass with various dimentions
Solar control glass is heat resistance product that has the ability to control energy emitted from the sun. With the multilayer coating, Solar Control glass can block not only to 65% of solar energy but also 99% of UV rays. Therefore, its help the indoor atmosphere coller and save the energy consumption of air conditioning system.
Low-E ( includes:Temperate and Tropical low-e glass) is a line of high quality insulated glass products, is produced by coating a system of 8 nano-sized coatings on the clear glass surface, in high vacuum environment. In which, Silver metal plays the main function layers.
Temperate Low-e glass with high transmission will bring lots of energy from the sun into the indoor space and capable to prevent heat inside the building, which does not transmit to the outside environment.
Tropical Low-E glass prevents the heat and UV rays of the sun from transmitting through it, helps to keep the inside atmosphere cooler.
