Vietnam is one of 6 countries that are heavily affected by global climate change. On May 10th, 2017, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 622 on approval of the National Action Plan for implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Among 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, Vietnam focuses on 7, including 4 related to the natural environment and 3 related to social environment.

The 11th goal is Sustainable Cities and Communities, in particular, to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. Green Building is considered as a solution of Sustainable Architecture. Phuc Khang Corporation is a pioneer in green building development in Vietnam.

Two representative green projects of Phuc Khang Corporation are Vietnam Lotus Village low-rise urban area at Long An province and Diamond Lotus Riverside high-rise apartment building at District 8, HCMC. These projects are applying Green Building standards including LEED (American Green Building Council) and LOTUS (Vietnam Green Building Council).
