Dr. Bao Xuxu earned his Ph.D. in Life Function Fibers from Shinshu University, Japan. Since joining the Shikibo Group in 2011, he has specialized in functional processing of textile products, including antimicrobial, antiviral, stain-resistant, and odor-neutralizing treatments. Dr. Bao also serves as a committee member and chairman of the Technical Subcommittee of the Japan Textile Technology Association. He actively contributes as a reviewer for academic journals such as Materials Letters and Materials Science and Technology C. Notably, Dr. Bao is one of the developers of the Deomagic odor-controlling technology and is dedicated to advancing this technology to address environmental odor issues as well as textile applications.
