He received a PhD from the University of Sydney in Australia in 2006. In 2008 he founded the consulting firm energydesign in Shanghai as a partner and served then as its managing director.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>Dr Schwede has been Juniorprofessor for Sustainable Building at the University of Stuttgart endowed by the Robert Bosch Foundation. He was Research Group Leader of the group for \u201eSystem Integration and Sustainable Building\u201c at the Institute for Building Energetics, Thermotechnology and Energy Storage (IGTE), Stuttgart University. Today he is Professor for Energy and Building Services at the Technical University of Applied Science in L\u00fcbeck and is working on large research projects on sustainable and energy efficient building in Vietnam and Cambodia.
