PEEB Program-GIZ
Ms. Vu Thi Kim Thoa since September 2018 has been working as the PEEB Senior Program Officer at GIZ Office Vietnam and acting at her capacity as Project Technical Adviser to the Ministry of Construction under several Bilateral Development Project frameworks.
During her intensive career life, she has been working for various Development Projects and being direct counterpart to a number of Departments, Agencies and Institutes under Ministry of Construction such as the Danida Project on Environmental Impact Mitigation for Building Material Production with MOC’s Institute of Science and Technology (2000-2001), SDC Project on Sustainable Brickmaking Industry with Nam Dinh Provincial Department of Construction and MOC’s Department of Building Material (2002-2010); the USAID Vietnam Clean Energy Program (The USAID-VCEP 2012-2017) and the UNDP-MOC Project on Improvement of Energy Efficiency in the High Rise Residential and Commercial Buildings.
As the USAID’s VCEP Chief of Party, she provides Technical Assistance to MOC in the formulation of Green Growth Action Plan, issued by Vietnam Ministry of Construction on 12/05/2017.
Also, she is delegated by the MOC to speak at the GEF Summit in Da Nang, June 2018. She is co-authoring the Technical Feasibility Study on Green Financing to Energy Efficient and Low Emission Housing Market – Commercially Affordable Housing Segment in Vietnam recently; providing instructions to the recent Study on Non-monetary Incentives to promote Energy Efficient and Low Emission Housing in Vietnam
