Yannick Millet has been living in South East Asia for more than 20 years.
After having managed businesses in the construction sector in Vietnam, he decided to dedicate himself to working for sustainable development and joined the Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC) as Executive Director from 2009 to 2013.
During that term, he led the definition and implementation of Vietnam first green building metrics – LOTUS rating tools – through pilot certification projects, as well as Vietnam first Green Building capacity building programmes.
He is now sitting at the VGBC Executive committee Board and at the IFC EDGE Certification Advisory Board.
After having handed over the organization to locals, he has been working as an independent consultant on international development projects related to Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Construction in Asia and Africa.
