UN in Vietnam
M.Sc. Tran Quy Nang conducted Master programs in Air-conditioning, Heating and Ventilation (HVAC) at the University of Technology Chemnitz (Germany) from 1976 to 1981.
He used to be a research and development engineer at DKK Scharfenstein (Germany), researcher at National Research Institute for Mechanical Engineering (Hanoi), design and consulting engineer at North Enginrering (Sweden), Chief engineer and technical Manager at Hanoi International Technology Center and he is currently Facility Manager at Green One United Nations House.
He helped his companies and organizations to achieve many green and sustainable certifications, including:
“The winner in the Building Energy Management Unique Creation” at the nationwide competition in industry and building 2010, organized by Ministry of Commerce for HITC, 2010
Lotus Platinum from VGBC, 2017
Winner in the competition “the Leadership in Sustainable Design & Performance” Award for Asia Pacific Region in institutional category, organized by the World Green Building Council (WGBC), 2018
Found and applied many solutions for saving energy in existing building
Sharing experiences about energy efficiency in building in many seminars.
Provide free consulting services to companies interested in Energy using efficiency in Building
Management and Monitoring the efficient use of energy in Green One UN House
Green One UN House is the first green Building in Vietnam awarded with LOTUS Platinum Certification. This presentation will provide you the information about how the building monitors and manages energy using, form design stage to operation stage. In the end of the presentation, there are some recommendations to the building owners and managers about efficient energy use in existing buildings.
